The reviews about the place were good, so I decided to book this as our first hotel after arriving to Madagascar.
The hotel is located on a steep hill and has no elevators, so not a place for anyone with moving difficulties.
The rooms were quite good and the bed was extra long.
The big issue was that during the two nights stay, neither of our two rooms had hot water, so the icy showers were a killer.
Also, I was not able to fully close the window in my room.
The rooms did not have towels, we asked them from reception but never received them.
The saving grace was the little restaurant/bar opposite of the hotel, Le Bar À Ka. Extremely friendly staff, excellent food and the best ever pina coladas!
If you are ever around Tana, please drop by there to drink one for me too!
